We are a group of individuals from Chicago that want to promote World Peace by clowning in our community!

Our mission is to be compassionate, caring and humanistic on all levels. Free hugs, smiles love and laughter.

How do you “clown”? All you have to do is play! Have an open mind and an OPEN HEART. Leave your ego at home. We welcome everyone to join us!

Clowns For Peace is a Family Friendly organization! We will be organizing clowning events throughout the Chicago area. Come one! Come all!

ENTER THE T-SHIRT LOGO CONTEST!!"Clowns for Peace" is in need of a logo to put on our official t-shirt. Wild and crazy ideas accepted!! :) :) The zanier the better!!! If you have any questions, drop us a line. :) Please submit ideas by September 3rd.

Friday, September 17th 2010 (World Peace Day):Clowning on Daley Plaza
We will be clowning after the World Peace Day Celebration on Daley Plaza. The Peace Day celebration starts at 12pm and will be meeting on Daley Plaza at that time. We will be clowning after the Peace Day celebration is over out of respect for the ceremony. We hope to have 24 or more clowns to carry and treat respectfully and playfully a large 5 foot canvas earth balloon, as part of the events on Daley Plaza.
Please consider taking the time to come join us for this important event!

**** We will be meeting on September 16th, 7:30 to 9:30pm at Inside Out Art Studio (2005 W. Montrose, Chicago) to blow up and tie balloons that will fill up the large canvas earth.****
