Gesundheit! Institute Global Outreach is pleased to invite you to join two-week clown tour to Russia. We will be spending the 1st week in Moscow and the 2nd week in St. Petersburg, clowning in hospitals, orphanages, nursing homes, and everywhere else we go, no experience required!

An amazing trip filled with participants from all walks of life from across the world. Together we will transform into a troupe deeply bonded by shared experience and love!

Tour Information

Schedule

This is an extremely active trip with a very full schedule, which can include lots of walking and stairs, long bus rides with infrequent bathroom stops, or late meals. There will be some site seeing and cultural opportunities, some free time, and special dinner parties and gatherings with our Russian friends.

The day to day itinerary of the trip will not be available from our Russian team until closer to November, but this is what a typical day looks like:

• Breakfast at the Hotel
• Travel by bus to clown at a hospital or orphanage
• Lunch
• travel by bus to another clowning gig
• Dinner at the Hotel

Some of the institutions we clown for are very small and on those days we will split into groups but come back together for meals. We will also have many clowning opportunities on the streets, in restaurants and everywhere we go in Russia. There will be some site seeing and cultural opportunities, some free time, and special dinner parties and gatherings with our Russian friends.

Occasionally we will take taxis or travel by metro. Traveling with a large group of clowns in Russia also takes a spirit of joy from both organizers and participants. The themes of our itinerary is flexibility, and sometimes plans will change, however, with a spirit of optimism, a no-whining policy, and tremendous group positivity the trip will pass with humor, ease, and grace.

In Russia our arrival is eagerly awaited by a host of Russian friends who love and care for us as their family and ensure an incredible cultural experience with Russia and its people, culture, and passions. In Moscow we will be hosted by Maria's Children, an art program for Russian orphans and children with special needs. Please spend some time reading their website to learn more about their work.

Cost

The Tour Package includes:

• Visa support (letter of invitation and voucher needed to obtain a visa)
• Accommodation in 3 or 4 star hotels
• Meals (except for 2 dinners)
• Transportation by tour bus
• Transportation from Moscow to St. Petersburg

$3000*

The tour package does not include airfare to and from Russia or visa and Visa processing. Participants are also encouraged to purchase a ticket to the Maria's Children Gala Fundraiser.

*Gesundheit! and our Russia team are working as hard as possible to keep the cost of the trip as low as possible. Please be prepared to pay $3000 + airfare. It is likely the cost of the tour will come down by several hundred dollars.

Want to Participate?

We register participants on a first come first serve basis and the trip is known to fill very fast. There will be little or no additional tour information between now and early May.
