Help us Reach our Goal of $80,000 for Patch’s 80th Birthday!
As Patch Adams turns 80 this month…he continues to spread the 6 key adjectives of the life he leads and suggests we all do: happy, funny, loving cooperative, creative, thoughtful…
It’s been 27 years since the eponymous movie starring Robin Williams came out. It gave birth to a global movement of volunteers in red noses spreading joy throughout the world, and generations of people who have enjoyed his in-person presence during humanitarian clown trips, as as well as lectures, presentations and public events.
…meanwhile, his mentees at the Gesundheit Institute and global disciples have taken up the mantle, and continue his beloved activities, including humanitarian clown missions around the world, events on “the land” in West Virginia, and activism to promote his beliefs. Patch’s dream is to maximize the infrastructure on the land in West Virginia. So he’s set a goal of raising 80,000 dollars in the second half of this year, to facilitate repairs and improvements on the buildings there…so we can do even more events more comfortably there!
All donors will be recognized by a virtual plaque on the Patchadams.org website, while donations of $1,000 or more will be immortalized by a plaque on the land. Those who are able to donate $5,000 will be offered a special one hour on-line session with Patch, at time/date to be agreed in the next 12 months. Patch will tell his story, update the audience about the status of his work, and do a Q&A.
Please help us continue to realize Patch’s vision of a world filled with peace, care, love and joy! To make your tax-deductible donation, click here:
